My family and I HIGHLY recommend Jackie and Brian as house and petsitters. We couldn't be more pleased with the care they took with our 3 dogs and home. We were gone 5 weeks from our home in Ecuador. I should note that Ecuador was on the tail end of a drought, and there had been power cuts due to a lack of hydropower production. So the situation wasn't ideal. But Jackie and Brian rolled with it, and thankfully, the drought and power cuts ended within their first week of sitting for us. There was also another snafu: the town government took down a utility pole, and all internet access to the house with it, on New Year's Eve. When they put up the new pole, they didn't reattach the fiber optic. Jackie and Brian were troopers, working with us until we got it back up and running, which took 24 hours. So in general, we just really appreciated their flexibility, and their commitment. They were very good communicators, giving us frequent updates and pictures, and always were quick to respond. They were neat and tidy -- we came home to a clean home. And most of all, the 3 dogs were very content. One of them needed daily medication; and one of the others has panic attacks at fireworks and thunder. Since Jackie and Brian were here for the holidays, and this is Ecuador, they had to basically sit with her under the stairs for much of Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. I don't think our dogs have ever had such attentive, and responsible, house sitters. I knew, after the Zoom call with them, and certainly the day we handed over the house and dogs to them, that they would be great -- even under challenging conditions. We honestly didn't stress about being gone so long -- something we've never done before, our trips are usually 2 weeks max. And the only reason we were NOT anxious, is because of who Jackie and Brian are. We trusted them, and they truly came through for us.
